2017 saw significant milestones for Africa50, including the signing of three project agreements, with one of them reaching financial close. Africa50 also continued to develop is investor base on the continent. Two new countries, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Guinea, have joined, bringing Africa50's shareholder base to 25 African states, the African development bank, the Central bank of West African States, and the bank Al-Maghrib. Committed capital is US$819 million.

L'année 2017 a été une étape importante pour Africa50, notamment la signature de trois accords de projets, l'un d'entre eux étant sur le point de se clôturer sur le plan financier. Africa50 a également continué à développer sa base d'investisseurs sur le continent. Deux nouveaux pays, la République démocratique du Congo et la Guinée, ont rejoint l'Union, ce qui porte à 25 le nombre d'actionnaires d'Africa50: la banque de développement africaine, la banque centrale des États de l'Afrique de l'Ouest et la banque Al-Maghrib. Le capital engagé est de 819 millions USD.
