Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) Policy

Africa50 is committed to integrating Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) principles into its operations, investment processes, and decision-making. The ESG Policy, first approved in 2019, has been updated with the support of BDO to reflect learnings over the past three years and to expand the scope to cover Africa50’s subsidiaries, including Africa50 – Project Development and Africa50 – Project Finance. These updates strengthen Africa50’s overall sustainability approach and ensure that ESG considerations remain central to its mission of driving transformational infrastructure investment across Africa.
