Africa50’s investor base is currently composed of 33 African countries, two African central banks, African Development Bank and the Public Investment Corporation (PIC), with more expected to join as investors. The current sovereign shareholders are Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Republic of Cabo Verde, Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia and Zimbabwe. The central banks are the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) and Bank Al-Maghrib. The committed capital is over US$895 million.
