Africa50’s investor base is currently composed of 31 African countries, two African central banks and the African Development Bank, with more expected to join as investors. The current sovereign shareholders are Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, Republic of Cabo Verde, Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia and Zimbabwe. The central banks are the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) and Bank Al-Maghrib. The committed capital is over US$895 million.
