Powering Africa Summit

On March 9, 2017, Africa50 CEO Alain Ebobisse was the keynote speaker at the 3rd annual Powering Africa Summit in Washington DC. The conference, which focused on how to increase private sector competitiveness in the African Energy sector, was attended by several hundred representatives from the private sector, governments,and international financial institutions, including a number of African ministers and senior US government officials.
Mr. Ebobisse’s speech focused on how commercial partnerships can deliver energy, create jobs, build capacity, and spur industrial growth in Africa.
