Bakary Traoré
Investment Associate
Mr. Traoré joined Africa50 in 2021 as an Investment Associate in the Project Finance team.
Previously he worked with African Capital Alliance in Lagos, where he supported private equity investments in the real estate, financial services, and FMCG sectors across West Africa. He started his career at Puji Capital in Shanghai, where he advised on M&A and equity financings. He was also an intern at Carlyle in Johannesburg as an MBA Associate.
Bakary holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an MSc in Economics & Strategy from Imperial College London, and a BSc from Northeastern University (Boston). He is a Senegalese citizen.
