Vincent Le Guennou

Vincent Le Guennou joined the Africa50 Infrastructure Acceleration Fund from Emerging Capital Partners (ECP), where he spent 20 years.

Vincent served on ECP’s Executive Committee and investment committees. He has served on the boards of various African companies, including Eranove (Power & Water), Togocom (Telecommunications), CIE (Power), SODECI (Water), All Africa Airways (Transportation), Air Ivoire (Transportation), Veolia Water Maroc (Water), Oragroup (Bank / digital infrastructure), and Takafa Education (Education / Social infrastructure).

Prior to joining ECP in 2000, and over a six-year period, Vincent worked for the International Department of the Saur Group, a former affiliate of the Bouygues Group, which specializes in water and electricity distribution and wastewater treatment. While on secondment from Saur, Vincent served as Chief Financial Officer of Compagnie Ivoirienne d’Electricité (CIE) in Côte d’Ivoire, one of the country’s largest companies listed on the regional stock exchange. He began his career in 1989 in Arthur Andersen’s Paris office.

Vincent is French and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Université de Paris Dauphine. He is a graduate of l’Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris.
